What is hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy combines hypnosis and therapy. Hypnosis is when you are relaxed and the mind becomes inwardly focused (trance), akin to a guided meditation. In this relaxed state your conscious mind and your subconscious mind become more “permeable” to each other. This allows for new thought patterns to be formed, new beliefs, positive feelings to be anchored and many more wonderful things to be done.

some of the most common uses for hypnotherapy include; relaxation, stress reduction, sleep, self esteem, confidence, motivation, concentration, phobias, stop smoking, Inner conflict resolution and much more.

I currently do not work with: psychosis, children, epilepsy, schizophrenia, addictions (except smoking), anorexia, bulimia and OCD . However I am undertaking further training to be able to work with more people, so feel free to give me a call if you would like to discuss if hypnotherapy is advisable for you.

Regression therapy builds off the techniques and principles of hypnotherapy.

Regression therapy takes a person directly to the source of their; trauma, sadness, guilt, shame etc and allows for healing and transformation through emotional release and a better understanding. This is achieved through various therapeutic techniques. Some of the techniques used include; body therapy, inner child therapy, emo trance, colour therapy, spirit release, energy work and more. The exact tools and techniques used vary session to session depending on what is needed at the time.
